Dasch played so lousy in this match, they shouldn't even have played in the 1st place.

2 guest players started: Zhiyong as goalie and Stanley as Sweeper. Eng Kiat was still nursing an ankle and back injury. Sui Jin and Bryan was MIA.

The match started with the opponent overwhelming us straight from the kick off. With Zhiyong starting out pretty unsteady, a few scares happened. Yip Yiying starting at right back for the 1st time this season (due to his persistence) produced the worst moments in this match. Any spectators watching the match would mistake Yiying for playing for the opponents. His tackles were ill-timed. His passes were all over except to the feet of the Dasch players.

In wasn't a surprise when the 1st goal from the opponent came. Some poor defending with poor goalkeeping let in the 1st goal. Zhiyong had to pick up the ball from his net 3 more times before the whistle was blown for half time. The defence seriously missed the services of the commanding Eng Kiat and the jinking run of Sui Jin. Of course, we need some practice on our goal kicks too.

The 2nd half only produces some consolation for us as Desmond pounced on a loose ball to score his trade mark goal. Both our fowards Chen Chai and Daniel were completely ineffective with them pumping hopeful balls to each other and our wingers. As usual, Daniel with his attitude, gave up way before the final whistle and influenced the rest of the attackers to follow. At least, Zhiyong's game was picking up with some fine saves to keep the score low.

The opponent was killing us and routing us with their off the ball running, superb ball control and pin point passes. The presence of the much improved Wen Zhao and Nigel Foo (National Runner) in the other team did punished Dasch even more.

With the much awaited final whistle blown, Dasch wondered why we could never play like our opponent.
