WHY SO QUIET??

~~~~Sorry about the slow update of this site. As u will notice from below...after my appeal for more contributions, I have only hear from Alvan (It's only a promise from him). So if I got nothing to write, u got nothing to read. :)

~~~~With the new English Season starting soon, I think it is appropriate for us to start voting for the team that will win the league title. So go for it!! Vote with ur brains not with ur hearts! Hahah....Man Utd lost to Arsenal in the Charity Shield!!!

~~~~Many of U have wrote in the forum regarding new matches. Our manager Mr Tan Eng Kiat is rite now busily arranging with teams that we can trash one (hopefully).

~~~~There won't be any match this long weekend. Most likely there will be one next Sunday. The editor promise that he will pester the manager to fix one up immediately for our itchy legs.

~~~~For people like Sui Jin and Bryan...if u are wondering how come your pics are not up yet. Don't worry. I still got 7 more films in that roll with your faces in it. Let me finish it as soon as possible during this holiday weekend. For Tianrui, unfortunately, i forgot to take your pic. Next time lah!

~~~~Wah lau! Did u guys see Daniel's email??? It seems Yiying is still in his No. 1 hit list.

~~~~Chelsea WON 4-0 against Sunderland!! Sutton is shit maaannn!!! And Newcastle lost to Aston Villa!! Hahahah!!! Liverpool won!! YEAH! Something to say about your fav team?? Go to forum.

LOTS OF INVITATIONS FOR MATCHES

~~~~Being famous (?!!) in cyberspace, it's naturally for us to receive lots of attention from others. Let me quote some of their emails to the editor:

"hi,i found your web site on the search engine. wonder whether you would like to have a friendly match with my team, Prima United FC. my team is just set up recently and would like a few friendly matches for practice. pls reply to me or my manager at xxx."

The captain replied:

"Hi, Thanks for inviting us for a challenge. However, as our team is currently been hit with a lot of injuries, we are a very very much weaken team. May i know how old are u guys? And wat about ur standards? Frankly, my team is very very weak and we only play for fun unlike u guys who hold regular trainings. Most of us are from NTU and NUS, but we play our soccer in Bishan area."

Prima Utd (their manager):

"hi, it is just a friendly, so let us dun be too concerned abt the standards....besides, we also play mainly for fun, except we r more enthusiatic than your side....so that is why we even hold trainings when there is no friendly...we are abt 25 yrs old, with some guys also from ntu....just tell us a date(but not 05/09) which u feel is comfortable with your team, when your players recover from their injuries...we hope the match is on sunday evening and abt the referee and pitch, who is going to arrange...hear from u again.thanks.

Prima Utd (their captain):

"Hi, many of the guys in our team are from NTU. most of us are about 25 yrs old, with the exception of some who are 20 yrs old. maybe we can arrange a friendly on a free pitch and without a referee. our team is just formed 4 months ago and our std is so-so. we also play soccer for fun and i think it's good to have friendies so that the team gel can gel up. since you say that your team is very weak now, how about we field our players who don't get a run in the first team so that they can get some match fun. then we can access some of our players who did not get to play in matches so far. thanks, km Chong

~~~~Lots of activities in the forum. Plus our counter hit 400 from 300 in just 2 days! Wow. What do u think should be our next poll? How much will u pay for training equipment? Should we have training?
